Hello, I’m new to Asana and trying it out

How do I schedule email alerts and schedule deadlines ?

I want to set a task and have it trigger alerts when it is due/coming due

Asana calls these “notifications” and you and go to How to use Asana, Asana tutorials, onboarding tips, and team use cases | Product guide • Asana Product Guide and search for that to learn more. They appear in your Asana Inbox. Depending on your settings, they can also notify you by email. Click your profile image (circle in top-right of Asana window) > choose My Settings > click the Notifications tab > change settings in Email Notifications.
