I am overly tired of having to delete the odd (that’s being polite) task that are auto-generated telling me to consider updating my project progress. How can I permanently delete this as a thing created by the program? I see other folks with this question and a bunch of answers that seem to be obsolete (point to features that no longer exist).

You can manage this by going to the Overview tab and clicking one of the On track, At risk, or Off track buttons. On the Status Update screen, you’ll see an option at the top to disable reminders—simply turn it off.
Got it, thank you! I didn’t understand that I had to click on one of the status options to get to a second page where the reminder option is.
