How do I display tasks in multiple sections (groups)?

I’m looking for an article on how to display tasks in multiple groups in the group view in list view.
I think it involves using custom fields.

I remember seeing it a few months ago, but I can’t remember where, so please help.

Warning: Hack Alert!

Another approach that avoids a custom field and a new tab view is to add a subtask to the task you want to appear in multiple sections, and then add the subtask to the same project, in another section (you’d need a separate subtask for each subsequent section).

This is a hack, but the name of the parent task appears automatically due to Asana’s task title format of “subtask < parent task” and then it’s just one click away.
