How Do I Cap Goal Milestones?

Hi everybody!

I am struggling to set up our goals in Asana.

My team has goals like “sell 12 workshop seats.”

We have a task for each prospect, and then a milestone that is met when the prospect is converted.

However, if I hook up all prospects to the Asana goal, now we have hundreds of prospects/milestones.

That’s fine, but I need the goal to be achieved once 12 milestones have been hit. Asana wants the goal to be met when 100% of connected milestones are met, which would be hundreds of prospects/sales.

I can do this as a manual goal, but I really would like it to be automatic. That’s why we’ve set up milestones in the first place

Are there any workarounds or strategies I’m missing?

TLDR; We have hundreds of prospects. Goal is met when 12 are converted. How do I set up this goal automatically?

Hi @Abby_Brennan
Please create a custom field "Conversion "(Data type: Number )
Each time a prospect converts, update their task by increasing the “Conversions” field value by 1.
Automation:
Set up an automation rule in Asana that triggers when the total number in the “Conversions” field reaches 12.
Once the Number hits 12, mark the goal as complete.
