How Becoming an Asana Ambassador Has Transformed the Way I Support My Team

Since being introduced to Asana in 2023, I’ve made it a personal mission to learn everything I can about it, not just to improve my own workflows, but to elevate the processes within my department and the teams we collaborate with. Becoming an Asana Ambassador has been a major part of that journey.

I’ve spent a lot of time in the Asana Forum and Asana Academy, becoming a Forum Leader, earning my Workflow Specialist Certificate, my Asana Administrator Certificate, and collecting numerous skill badges along the way. The more I’ve learned, the more confident and empowered I’ve felt in supporting others. It’s important to remember to:

:fortune_cookie: Share your knowledge. Someone needs it :fortune_cookie:

I even posted this AI image in the Ambassador only Slack recently (see below) with the caption:

When someone asks you to set up a project in Asana for them…”

because honestly, it really does feel like a superhero being called into action.

Asana gives me the tools to make a meaningful impact across our organization, whether it’s building smarter workflows, simplifying cross-department coordination, or helping teammates feel less overwhelmed and more supported. The Asana Ambassador Program has pushed me to grow, stay curious, and share what I learn, and that’s created a ripple effect far beyond my own role.

I’m grateful for this community and excited to keep building, learning, and leveling up together in the year ahead!

Absolutely love this, @Jeremy_Long!

That superhero analogy couldn’t be more accurate :man_superhero: The impact you’re making across your org and within the wider Asana community is exactly what makes the Ambassador Program so special :star:

Here’s to more building, learning, and leveling up together in the year ahead :rocket:

Yesss! Having someone ask you to set up an Asana project for them is the best feeling. Even better? When they ask you to teach them how to set up Asana projects!

We’re grateful for you too, @Jeremy_Long! Thank you for all the work you’ve done this year in the Asana Forum (and for introducing me to “The Professor” Nick Harrison, which is now a recurring name in my playlist :joy:).

PS: I also see our Ambassadors and Forum Leaders as a superhero squad! I even guest-made a comic strip for a past Countdown to the New Year once, and your Asana Bat-Signal captures that feeling perfectly. My spider-sense might be picking up a potential comic collab for next year’s Countdown… :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:
