Asana already has customizable “widget pages” inside projects with drag-and-drop layouts, resizable cards, and flexible grids. The Home tab should work the same way.
Right now, the Home layout is mostly fixed. You can add or remove a few predefined widgets, but there’s no real control over sizing, positioning, or how the page is structured. Meanwhile, the widget pages inside projects give you exactly this level of customization.
Extending that same model to Home would let users build their own homepage using the same mechanics they already know: drag widgets around, resize them, choose from a library of widget types, and arrange them in a layout that matches how they work. The infrastructure clearly exists; it just hasn’t been brought to Home yet.
For anyone in a leadership or oversight role, being able to structure the homepage around what matters most to them (rather than working within a fixed layout) would be a significant quality-of-life improvement.
