Help with statuses and subtasks

1. Are there Task statuses in Asana? We use Project Sections for statuses in Board view and I’m not sure that it is correct.
2. Can I have a subtask visible in my project view while still being a subtask?

There isn’t a ‘correct’ way to do this. You can use Sections, you can use Custom Fields. Whatever works best for you.

Yes you can. Go into the subtask and add it to your project using the shortcut [tab]+[p]
