Google Document Verification to Collaborators

My company uses GSuite and one of my favorite features is when I send an email via Gmail to coworkers with a link to a Google file, it will verify that the receiver has access to the Google file before sending. If they do not have access, there is a prompt asking if I want to provide view, comment or editor access to anyone included on the email chain.

We use Google docs, sheets, drive, etc. frequently in Asana. It would be amazing if there was a similar feature that before you can update a task description, field or add a comment with a Google link, that it’s verified that anyone who is a collaborator on the task has access to at least view the file being added to the task. This would eliminate the need to request access if the person adding the link forgets to add permissions to the team before including it in Asana.

Nice idea! Don’t forget to click the title to scroll to the top and vote by clicking the purple Vote button, as I did!

Thanks,
