Hi @Eric_Perseghin1 , welcome to the forum ![]()
There are various articles in the forum on this technique, but here it is in a nutshell:
- Setup your form in a dedicated intake project.
- Each form submission will create a task.
- Setup a rule action ‘Convert task to project’ once your task is either 'added to the project ’ (or optionally, if you want to add a review procees, the task reaches a particular stage/section, such as ‘approved’).
- This rule action has specific settings such as create the new project based on a project template, and also the ability to add the resulting project into a portfolio(s).
- Note, the Assignee will become the project owner, the due date will be used to set all dates of task in the template.
- Lastly, if you connect fields to your form’s questions, and add those fields to the library, and add then them to the resulting portfolio, you can actually get those field values to map over from tasks submitted, to project created in the portfolio!
