👉 Feature Request: Allow setting task recurrence (Repeat) inside Project Templates!

Hey everyone! :waving_hand:

I am a huge fan of Project Templates. Features like relative due dates and project roles are absolute lifesavers. However, there is one missing piece that is causing a lot of manual work: Task Recurrence.

Right now, you can’t set a task to repeat (weekly, monthly, etc.) directly inside the template builder.

Because of this, every time I create a project from a template, I have to create a dummy task with a red warning emoji :police_car_light: saying “START HERE” just to remind myself to manually go through specific tasks and set up their recurrence. It completely breaks the automation magic of using a template!

My suggestion:
Please add a simple recurrence option (Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly, etc.) to tasks within the Template Builder. Even if it’s just a basic drop-down for now, it would save us so much time and eliminate human error when spinning up new projects.

Who else is using workaround tasks to remember to set recurrences? :man_raising_hand:
