I agree completely. We need this ability.

NEED this!!

I want to convert the Gantt chart into pdf so that I can email/print it.

Exporting projects into csv loses all the Gantt features.

Creating screenshots is cumbersome and does not look professional.

Welcome to the forum @Aarti_Shah !

Don’t forget to vote for your own feedback.

I’ve merged your post into an existing topic where you can click the title to scroll to the top and vote by clicking the Vote button.

Thanks,

Larry

Hi all, for what it’s worth, checkout https://www.instagantt.com/ (no affiliation) for a very decent export to PDF. Free for up to 3 connected Asana projects!

Great recommendation Richard. I love love love Instagantt as a workaround for exporting high res PDFs. I used it previously when Asana didn’t have the gantt view, but now only use Instagantt purely for exporting.

If Asana can implement a few more features into its Gantt view such as the ones below, we can safely get rid of Instagantt completely! :crossed_fingers:

Asana Gantt Wish List

  1. Export to PDF
  2. Lock/unlock individual due dates regardless of task type.
  3. Get rid of the annoying and unnecessarily long and windy dependency lines!

Hey @Zhamatix , great suggestions! Make sure to search the forum and vote for your other two suggestions. If you can’t find one, feel free to create a new topic in English Forum > Product Feedback.

FYI, it’s forum policy to keep feedback separated so it’s clear what we are voting for

PS: I see you have voted for improving dependency lines. And restrict due dates is already available.
