What I’m wondering is this: is there a way to export an entire org’s setup in Asana, to import into another Asana? That would include teams, portfolios, projects, forms, custom fields, rules, even goals.
@Virginia_Mowery - there technically is (at least for enterprises), but what is your goal? Are you trying to merge orgs or something like that? If so, it’s probably a lower lift to contact support and see what they can do.
Hi Stephen - thanks for responding to this. We want to be able to import our setup for other orgs we work with and are helping set up their Asana - like a template. We’re at the Advanced level right now, not Enterprise.
@Virginia_Mowery - ah ok gotcha, in that case I am not personally aware of a good way to accomplish this, but hopefully someone else can chime in with their experience! Maybe one of the resident consulting experts has seen this scenario: @lpb @Richard_Sather

Hi @Virginia_Mowery , have a look at this helpful guide from @Bastien_Siebman :
You can transfer most things in your wishlist except for Forms and Rules because they are not supported via Asana’s API therefore, you will not find any 3rd party tool able to do this.
Are you an Asana Partner by any chance? If so, you have a Phoenix demo space which allows cross domain copying of a project (one at a time) with full features including rules and forms.

We do have a Phoenix demo space, and I’ve been experimenting with cross-domain copying of projects there, but my AI rules didn’t transfer properly. Still experimenting there. And thanks for the guide!
