Export and import into MS Project?

Considering how to go about printing a project timeline, I was thinking about exporting to CSV and then importing into MS Project.
Has anyone gone ahead and implemented that?
If you’ve done that, would you be willing to share the mapping file needed for MS Project?
(perhaps even in German language …

Were you ever successful at this?

I am searching for similar but if you just want to see a timeline, then instagantt links to Asana and you can select projects to pull in. Works very well and is easy to use.

I am interested to do the opposite: export from MS Project and import into Asana.

Have you had any success with the import into Asana?

To export project from Asana you shold use CSV format. Next you need to open this SCV file in Excel and chose “,” as delimiter in the 2nd step of import. Save the file. Then open it in MS Project and pick the right MS Project field names for each Asana file colums (start date in Asana = start in MS Project, due date = finish, assignee in Asana = Resourse name in Project etc.) It was ChatGPT advise

hello, have you succeeded with this task?

No I did not.
