Please implement this feature. The lack of ability to exclude archived projects from the advanced search quickly makes using the search function far less useful.
Please implement this feature in the near future. The search is basically useless otherwise.

I’ll add my vote as well just to bring it back up on the request list. If the intent is to archive instead of deleting, then the assumption is Archived Projects are no longer wanted to be seen and only discoverable by advanced searching mechanisms. I don’t understand the logic of having them displayed, particularly without a way of removing them.
Implementing a step in between (tagging, etc) makes it difficult to ensure 100% accuracy.
Please allow the removal of archived projects from Advanced Search.

We need to be able to include or exclude. I just discovered a need to search only archived projects, but it’s not possible.
