Love the new Notes tab and it would be great to be able to use it in a project template. It would be very useful to be able to create a notes tab in a project template e.g. for a more defined and visual project charter for employees to fill out for projects.
Our company uses project templates for the majority of our work. We’ve just begun using the Note feature and really like it with a few challenges. The main being that we’d like to be able to format a specific Note tab at the template level and have it be created as part of the project when the template is used. I do not see where this can be done currently. Is this in the roadmap for future development? Do others have a work-around solution in place? We are trying to pull staff entirely into Asana and while this feature helps mimic OneNote functionality in some areas, we do still run into issues.

There’s no full workaround, but partial ideas are:
- Use a Reference task instead of a Note tab, or
- Save your rich text note in the Description of a setup task at the top of the template with instruction to manually create a note tab and copy/paste there, then complete the setup tab, or
- Duplicate your project with Project actions > Duplicate instead of using a project template (perhaps unlikely an option in your case).
