I never realized until today that you can add emojis inside tags That makes it awesome!!!
Custom fields as well. Thanks for teaching me this trick.
@Bastien_Siebman , you were a day ahead of the curve. Seems like there should be prize for finding it before it was announced.
Surprise everyone; you can now find Emoji’s everywhere in Asana!
We heard your feedback and we’re happy to announce that, as of a few days ago, you can now use emojis in task & project names in Asana, as well as custom fields! This makes it easy for Teams to distinguish between similar projects (1:1 meeting Projects, for example) with an emoji. Give your task name some or even add your favorite emoji as a custom field.
Asana’s expanded formatting options mean you can now cut and paste…
This is such a coincidence
This would be great for us! Where can I find out HOW to add an emoji to a tag?
You pretty much have to copy them from a task description or comment.
Vince posted it just above, but there are instructions here:

If you’re using a mac, you can also use the following shortcut “Ctrl + Cmd + Space bar”, it will automatically open the emoji panel. Note that this works in Asana, but pretty much everywhere else
Whaaaaaaaaaatttttt amazzing!!!
You guys are hilarious… can you teach me how to add to the emoji bank so that my team can easily assign a previously decided upon emoji to our tasks?

@Emily_McMullen , You can just copy/paste any one of them from this post (or the others in the thread), or copy to an Asana task for reference/use/copying from there:
