Emails are verbose and take too much time to scan to understand the change that is being communicated

I think the design of emails from asana could be more considered.

How might the thing that has been changed about the task be highlighted more clearly to create easier scanability for the task?

Hi @JT_DiMartile , welcome to the forum

In my humble opinion, receiving emails from Asana is a far more degraded experience than scanning through notifications within your Asana Inbox.

In addition, as I consult all my clients, email notifications from Asana should be disabled completely, by all users.

This is the way

Welcome, @JT_DiMartile,

I’m not quite as hard-nosed as @Richard_Sather  but even if you have reasons to keep the emails coming, they should function as a trigger to visit the Asana Inbox for detailed reading and triaging.

Also, regarding the presentation of the emails, keep in mind that maintaining threading is a design goal, with good reason, which precludes using the Subject for highlighting content, if that’s what you were hoping for.

Thanks,

Larry
