While installing the new version of Asana and integrating with Slack, I did not read the instructions/recommendations about selecting “all public channels” in the app permissions, and instead selected several private channels to allow Asana as an app. Should I uninstall Asana and re-install in Slack to get this permission corrected?
Hi @Jason_Wilder! Yes, you should be able to fix this with an uninstall/reinstall. We recommend users to choose “all public channels” since the app can still be added later to private channels and DMs (or public channels if “All Public Channels” is not selected) by typing “@asana” or “/asana” in the channel.
