Trying to build a project plan in the same manner as it is done in Microsoft Project.
Task 1 is made with a start date. The duration is inserted and the end date is then calculated. Task 2 is dependent on Task 1 which would then become it’s predecessor and the duration of Task 2 inserted as say 2 days. The start and end date of Task 2 is automatically calculated and scheduled based on this.
This is how Microsoft Project works and it’s the main reason engineering companies use the software. It’s not feasible estimating start and end dates manually for 300 line items.
