Duplicate task template functionality missing?

Is there an easy way to duplicate a task template? I’m positive there used to be but I can’t find it now. We have some items that require similar task templates across multiple projects and would like to be able to quickly make a copy and then modify, vs having to build the full task template from scratch every time.

I don’t think that existed, but you can create a task from the task template, multi-home to the destination project, and convert back to template there, but you might need to make adjustments depending on the features of task templates that you’re using.

My approach is to have more of a task template factory, so you don’t need to duplicate the task templates, but instead just get the resulting tasks to the right place. See this:

Hi @Brian_Fewell , apart from @lpb’s tip, it’s worth mentioning that if you are on Enterprise, the Bundles feature can ‘apply’ task templates to multiple projects, making them available to be used, but maintained from a single source.
