Just noticed setting a rule: “task is overdue” is not possible in a section.
How can I set up a automatic rule so the assigne get notified when a task is overdue?
Why cant some rules not be applied under a section?

Adding a rule to a section via the “Add rule to section” menu option is really just a UI shortcut for adding a rule to the project with a “Task is moved to this section” trigger; it’s nothing more than that.
If you want an “assigne get notified when a task is overdue” rule to only apply to one section, just create that rule in your project and add a Condition to the rule of “Check if Section is [your desired section]”.
Maybe Im the one whos not on page here, but the rule “task is overdue” is grey. Or am I doing something wrong?
Try clicking the gear near the top right and toggling off the “Run on subtasks” option. Those triggers are currently only supported for task-level rules.
Thanks - that changed it.
will try set up a rule now.
