Due-date dependencies on multi-homed task

Hi,

I have a task that is multi-homed in two different projects, with two different sequences of tasks connected via dependencies.

When i move the due date of the task, only the dependent tasks in the project i am working on are shifting, while the ones in the other project are still, and the “main” task get overlapping the dependent tasks in that other project.

Is that the normal behaviour?
How can it make sense?

Thanks and regards

@FMF,

I think that is the expected behavior, unfortunately-a limitation.

A possible workaround: if all tasks in the dependency chain were multihomed to a third project, and you did the date change there, it would then respect all the dependencies.

I’m not 100% sure of both the above paragraphs because I didn’t test it, but that represents my understanding.
