Dropbox + Asana Issue

Hi all,

I’m having an issue with a Dropbox + Asana issue.

I have a trigger on a project set to “When an attachment is added” to upload attachment in Dropbox but it’s not working (nothing uploads to Dropbox).

Any advice?

I think we’ll need a video or set of screenshots. Any chance you can link to a Loom or other video with personal data obscured?




I am experiencing an issue similar to this. No matter what folder I use, I get this error “Enter a valid dropbox folder URL”

I have tried deauthorizing Dropbox, reauthorizing, adding to different projects, sharing the folder link in different ways (web vs app). I can successfully download attachments FROM dropbox, but no matter what I try, I cannot get this automation to recognize an uplaod folder.

Following up on this, I am also encountering the same issue.

I have recreated the issue in an incognito browser with my cookies cleared and it still persists. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated, @lpb!

The best next step would be to: 1) Report your problem by going to Report a Bug, clicking the New Topic button at the right, and following the instructions, or 2) To create a support ticket, go to www.asana.com/support (make sure you are logged in to Asana) > click the chat icon at the bottom right > type “speak to an agent” > click “Yes” > click “Something Else” > click “Create a support ticket.”
