Drag and drop doesn't work in Monthly Calendar view

Hi!
I have a problem with dragging and dropping tasks in the calendar screen. After dropping a task, the date does not change.

I tried from different browsers (chrome + FF last versions), cleared cache, disabled all plugins…

Then I tried to create a new space, but dragging and dropping in the calendar did not work in it either.

I read that the problem could be in the enabled filters, I disabled them on all screens, but that didn’t help either :frowning:

Can recommend anything?

@Wexsels - thanks for sharing your screen recording. Unfortunately I do not have a solution for you, but I can confirm that I was able to reproduce the issue the same way you showed.

I’m pinging @lpb to see if this issue is showing up for him too. If so, he could possibly move this post into the “Bugs” category for us.

In the meantime, you could change your view at the top right to “Weeks” instead of “Months”. That allowed me to drag and drop. I was also able to click on and open the task and change the date. I know it’s an inconvenience, but it seems to be the only option at the moment.

I can confirm @Bryan_TeamKickstart’s confirmation; same problem occurs and same workaround works for me.

Thank you very much! Yes, tasks are dragged and dropped on the weekly screen, although slower than before (they appear in the new date with a delay of a couple of seconds).

Asana is a very convenient solution, I hope the team will fix this problem in a while :slight_smile:

Yes, I noticed a delay too, but I don’t use that regularly so not sure if it’s longer than usual.

Same here! It was working fine yesterday (31st July) and now it does not. We use the calendar heavily and noticed it straight away in the morning.

I can confirm it does work in week view with a 3-5 second delay. Month view is the issue and most important to our company.

Good day! Same here, I was trying so hard dragging tasks around - I thought there’s smth wrong with with the mouse :slight_smile: Weekly view is the only option now at least, hoping it’s fixed very soon!

I heavily use the My Tasks Calendar view, and switch between the Week and Month views within. Until yesterday, I was easily able to drag and drop tasks into later dates while in the Month setting, but now I now longer can. It seems to still work for the Week view. Now if I want to move several tasks to a later week, I need to manually change the date on each one, which is very tedious. Is this a bug? Or is this by design?

Up until today, I was able to move my tasks in calendar view. The only way is if I go into each task and change the due date. I tried all the different solutions but nothing. Plus I don’t see “None” in the sort view. Can you help me with this?
