Differentiate Fields Viewed for List vs. Board

We use the list and board views for different purposes and it would be great if the fields viewed could be set differently.

For us, the list view is the more detailed view, something that allows for sorting and viewing of all information in different ways. On the other hand, the board view is used for standups and meetings. What matters more is the section, the task , due date, and a much smaller subset (if any) of the custom fields, so that the board is readable and easily presentable in a virtual meeting.

Unfortunately, whatever fields you choose for one are what’s displayed on both … which means turning on and off fields when you switch views.

Please, disconnect the umbilical cord that connects the fields being viewed so that the individual views can be better customized by their use.
