Differenciating Notification Settings in Asana

I’m helping integrate our team in Asana, and one issue we all face is the number of notifications we get. On the Settings tab in Asana, there are options for Browser, Slack, Project, and Email notifications.

What is the difference between project notifications and browser notifications? I thought project notifications had to do with the Asana Inbox- but my Asana inbox still populates with “project notifications” completely off.

Ultimately, I’d like to walk my team through Asana’s notification settings so that everyone has them set up the same way, and then management/senior roles can change their settings for to include more detail (if they’d like).
