Desktop app icon in the Windows 10 system tray hard to see with a dark taskbar

I’ve been having trouble being able to see the Asana icon on my Windows 10 system tray. If my taskbar is dark (usually controlled in Windows by Settings > Personalization > Colors > Choose your color > Dark), then Asana is a black three dot icon against a dark taskbar background. The only way I can make it more visible is to change my taskbar to a light setting (usually controlled in Windows by Settings > Personalization > Colors > Choose your color > Light).

Would it be possible to make the Asana icon different, like a solid white background with three red dots, like the usual Asana logo? Three black dots just blends into the background too much.

Thanks!

Hi @Avi_Poje, yes I completely agree, the black logo makes it very difficult to see. Can you please check your Asana System Tray icon again? I just checked on my Windows machine with dark mode enabled, and I’m seeing the three-dot Asana logo in white, so it is easy to see. I am on Windows 11 though and don’t have a Windows 10 test machine, so the OS version may be the issue. Please let us know what you see now on your machine.

Weird! Maybe it’s just a Windows 10 thing. I’m in dark mode and still have a black logo. I sort of fixed it by picking a custom taskbar color that lets the dots stand out a bit, but it’s still a little annoying.
