Dashboard changes from Milestone to Task based if used from Project Template

I created a project with a specific dashboard based on milestones and saved the project as a template. When I create a project from this template the dashboard in this project uses the tasks instead of milestones. How can I debug this behavior?

Browser version: Microsoft Edge Version 114.0.1823.67 (Official build) (64-bit)

What version of Asana are you using (Basic/Premium/Business/Enterprise)? Enterprise

Hi @Thomas_Roos , this is actually the current expected behaviour. Unfortunately, Templates v2 do not support customised dashboards so that they could be retained in the projects that are created from such templates.

A workaround, although not ideal, would be to just duplicate your project instead. That way, your Dashboard would be intact, as long as you select the appropriate checkmark during the duplication process.

So we have live with it for the time being. Yet, I hope this will be changed in one of the following updates
