Customizable Due Date Rules

Hello. We’re trying to figure out how we can set a rule on flagging when due date have been extended more than X amount of times to leadership emails. Also flagging when a due date has been extended to an egregious amount forward.

Here’s a partial solution to your fist request. Maybe you can split off your second request into a separate topic and see if anyone has thoughts.

Tracking how often a due date has changed on a task

Since this request was made, rules were added to Asana (Business and Enterprise Plans) so you can track the number of due date changes by starting with a rule trigger of Task Updated > Due Date. A good action to use would be Create new subtask. That will leave residue of each date change which you can then count at any time.
