One of my Bundles uses a Custom Task Type. That Custom Task Type is applied to Subtasks of a Task Template in that Bundle. The Subtasks are not saving as the Custom Task Type after updating the Bundle; they revert to the default Task. I’ve noticed this issue since the recent addition of Custom Task Types to Bundles.
In case context helps, the Custom Task Type is used as a custom Approval task with our creative team’s jargon for selections instead of “request changes” and “rejected”.
Workflow
- Open the Bundle
- Edit the Task Template so the selected Subtasks convert to the Custom Task Type
- Select “Done” when finished editing the Task Template
- Select “Continue” and then “Apply Changes” when finished editing the Bundle
(wait patiently while the Bundle update is applied to all projects that use it)
My team and I are so excited for Custom Task Types to enter Bundles! We hope there is a solution for this. Are any other users facing this challenge? The simplest solution would be a user error that I’m not aware of.
