Hey everyone, i’m looking for some workarounds to try to create a parent task from a list of subtasks.
- I’ve tried to use Asana AI, but i think there’s a clear limitation that has already been spelt out in the resources i’ve looked into.
- Is there any suggestions that anyone can provide?
The reason for the request is that every single task in this Project covers multiple markets and its easy for us to create a parent task and a rule that automatically creates all the necessary subtasks tagged to each market using Asana AI.
However, there are scenarios where there are requests from each market that we’d like to explore in other markets as well, and hence there’s instances where we will create the “subtask” first and after awhile look to scale it up into other markets.
For housekeeping, we’d like to have a way to then group all these tasks under a specific parent task without much manual work.
For reference, all of the tasks share the same name, we use a custom field to demarcate the markets involved.
