Creating a weighted project completion view in portfolios

I have the following scenario:

I have a project with 4 sections and each section has between 4-10 tasks and some subtasks.

The tasks have varying complexities and therefore each have a different weight.

I have created a costum numerical field, where I add the percentages for each task. In sum, all tasks across the whole project will add up to 100%.

Is there a way I can view the completion of the project in my portfolio based on the completion of the tasks where the weight I have given the task is used?

I have tried using the roll up function, but I wasn’t able to do it.

Any help would be massively appreciated.
