Create Client Profiles within Asana

I am using Asana for task management for our construction business.

I’m wondering if I can create a client profile so that I can see the client by clicking “See” what stage they are at in the construction process and see all the tasks associated with that client.

Basically I’m trying to set up repeatable templates so if I get a new client, I can plug them in and a designated set of tasks based on the contract timelines will be created for that client. Is there any way to create a client profile view and assign template tasks to new clients?

Let me know if that makes sense. Thank you so much!

Welcome, @JohnSalt,

There are a variety of ways to do this in Asana depending on the details of your needs and your Asana plan.

Project templates, projects, a portfolio, and possibly task templates are potentially features to explore in help.asana.com.

I don’t feel the Forum is interactive enough to allow a proper exploration of the needs and solutions, though a number of us Asana Partners work with clients regularly for things like this.

Thanks,

Larry

Hi @JohnSalt , thanks for the question.
I have to agree with @lpb , that we would probably need a deeper context to fully tailor the solution to your needs, but many of the aspects you mention (stage, all tasks in one place, etc. ) would be included in a project. Perhaps setting project templates and naming them with the client names is the solution here.
But it could also be setting a team per client or a portfolio per client.
