Create a URL query string to search my Asana projects

I’d like to request the ability to search asana using a custom query that I can use with some of my Mac apps such as Alfred.

When I used to use Basecamp I had this set up that would open directly into search results using Alfred to invoke: https://3.basecamp.com/projectname/search?q={query}

I’ve looked around and there doesn’t seem to be a way to do this.

I’m also looking into how to do this!

Agreed. I sometimes reference ECNs from our MediaWiki, and I’d love to have a template like {{ECN|12345678}} which would generate a search URL for Asana.

Also interested in having a way to do this.

update for y’all. I’ve been using an app called Command-E for a while now. Try it out. I think its still in beta but works quite well. Mac/Win. Indexes all your Asana tasks and super fast. It’s like spotlight for Asana, Gdrive, Gmail and more.

note : I am just a user. no affiliation.

plus one!

2 years late but does this satisfy the ask? (don’t think it existed 2 years ago, I tried)

Definitely didn’t exist! Was this a stealth release or is there documentation somewhere?
