Copy/Paste tasks within project templates

I’m really confused as to why there isn’t a functionality to copy paste tasks (including subtasks) within project template and more importantly WHY is it not possible to duplicate a template as a whole.

This is why I think it shouldn’t be a thing:

I think duplicating project templates is a terrible idea. You’re introducing reduncancy, which makes your process harder to change, and you’re introducing the risk of making mistakes in updating something in one template, but not the other. If I could vote against it I would.
