🪲 Connect field in the library to a Form question makes the form go blank, unable to save

I experienced this yesterday and again today with two separate clients in separate Asana spaces.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Create or open an existing form
  2. Add a question
  3. Connect the question to a field from the library that is NOT already added to the project

Expected behaviour: connects the field to the question and upon saving the form, it adds the field to the project.

Current behaviour (bug): the form modal goes completely blank (see below screenshot)

:bulb: Current workaround:

  1. Go to Customize>Fields
  2. Add the field from the library to the project
  3. Connect the field to the form’s question

:light_bulb: Hello,

I am getting an error / fault when trying to connect a custom field to a form question (seems to be only fields I’ve created - ones that have worked for months on other forms).

The screen for the form creation goes white and I have to close the form and start again.

Currently I cannot create forms that link custom fields I have created.

Has anyone seen this error before and have a fix for it?

Hi @Joe_Westwood,

I did a search for “form” and “custom field” and found this existing topic, to which I merged your post.

As it is added to English Forum > Critical Bugs it has Asana’s attention.
