There is a great feature in Notion called “Close redirecting browser tabs.”
It would be great if Asana had this feature as well. I always have lots of tabs like this:
This happens because when I click on Asana links, I am redirected to the desktop app, and I’m left with this not-very-useful browser tab. It would be great if these tabs auto-closed after I am redirected to the desktop app.

THIS! I hate that I have a gazillion tabs that look like that since I am working in the desktop app. Would be great to have a permanent opt-in (kind of like you do with Zoom links, for example) that would eliminate this tab opening and instead just open in the desktop app.

The browser redirect pages used to forward links to the Asana desktop app should close automatically after a few (10–15) seconds (accompanied by a corresponding text message; additionally the timer could reset or pause when the window is in focus). Currently, many of these pages quickly accumulate unnecessarily when using the app.
