Clockify integration with the desktop app

Hello, does anyone know if it is possible to integrate the clockify timer with the Asana desktop app. I have the integration setup when I use Asana in my browser, but can’t see how to have the functionality in the desktop app.

Thanks!

Welcome to the Asana Community Forum, @Erin_Schols! As it stands, it’s currently not possible to add the Clockify integration to the desktop app. Hopefully this is something we can implement in the future! I’ve gone ahead and moved this thread to the #productfeedback category to allow other customers to upvote.

Ok, thanks for the reply!

@Erin_Schols as a workaround for me, in Chrome I saved a shortcut to Asana as a new window and keep it pinned to my taskbar. This way it “acts” like the desktop app but with all the features of the web app

How do you find Asana desktop address to create a shortcut? I too use chrome but work in app. Nice workaround!

I don’t make the shortcut from the desktop app, I use the webpage.

  1. Open Google Chrome.
  2. Browse to the your Asana Home, or MyTasks, whichever you want to land on.
  3. Click the three dot hamburger menu at the top-right of the window.
  4. Select More tools, then click Create shortcut.
  5. Type a name for the shortcut into the top field, click the box to open in a new window, then click the Create button.
  6. Pin to taskbar or wherever is easiest for you.

That will open Asana looking like the app, but is actually the webpage.
