Check if rule is triggered by

I have a rule that notifies (a comment on task with an @mention)someone of specific task changes to a custom field.

The notification isn’t needed when they themselves are the one to change that field.

My current workaround is to use AI studio to check whether the person isn’t the one I’m notifying.

It’d be handy though to have this as native functionality.

To prevent needless notifications I’d only want the rule to run when it is triggered by someone other than the person I’m notifying:

  • Guidance:

Comments are to inform @person.

To prevent her getting needless notifications you will check whether it was someone else who triggered the rule."

Condition details:

Rule is triggered by someone other than @person
