When I try and create a new task on the Android app, the keyboard is always covering the “create” button. This started a few days ago. I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling the asana app. I’ve also tried numerous different keyboard settings, and holding the phone sideways. I cannot find any way to create a new task from my Android device.
Welcome, @Madison_Miner, and sorry to hear this.
I use the Asana Android app and have not experienced this (including testing just now).
Please create a support ticket: see How to contact our Support Team.
Thanks,
Larry
I have the same issue
Was working fine
Now can’t create tasks in the same manner
Not sure if there was a current update
I have the same issue. I can’t create tasks on mobile because of this.
I created a support ticket (case 01318231) 5 days ago, so far there’s been no response. Any other suggestions? This is pretty frustrating as I’ve been using Asana everyday for about 10 years, and now I can’t.
Welcome, @Brian_Laub1, and sorry to hear that, @Madison_Miner
@Forum-team, there are a couple reports here so I’m tagging you in case you feel this could be escalated, or if the Support backlog is not so great and maybe Madison should have heard back by now?
Thanks,
Larry
Same.
Hi everyone and sorry for the trouble creating tasks on the Asana Android app! I’m afraid I wasn’t able to reproduce this issue. In order to investigate this further, could you confirm the following information please?
- Have you tried deleting and reinstalling the app?
- Can you confirm what is the current version of the Asana Android app you are using?
- Could you confirm what is the current Android version available on your mobile device?
Thanks in advance!
Same here
@Emily_Roman, This just happened to me using Asana 8.32.4 on Android 14, but then it worked ok the next time I tried to create a task. I’ll keep an eye on it and try updating the app if it becomes a problem.
Thanks,
Larry
Yes, un/reinstalled
Asana 8.31.3
Android 15
It’s now fixed for me with the latest version.
Hi everyone and thanks again for reporting this issue! We have release a fix for this error and it should be fixed on the Asana app for Android version >8.32.10. We recommend you to update your Asana app.
I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any other questions ![]()
Fixed! Thanks!
