What I am trying to do: I want to have the first part of a form to be filled out by team members requesting training. Is it possible to hide fields from those filling it out for only training to see? What I am looking for is to have all the fields show up in the “Description” area when I open up one of the tasks so it is easier to take notes when we meet with the requestors.
I have tried to create an ID field to see if there was a way to link two different forms to the same task as well. I am not sure what the best way to approach this would be and would appreciate any advise or ideas on how to make this happen or if it is even possible. Thank you!
I’m sorry, but perhaps no one has replied yet for the same reason I’m having trouble replying: I’m sure the question is clear to you, but perhaps not to us readers. Also, workflows like this need to be understood holistically in order to give a good response, and that can often require a discussion and screen share to be on the same page. Some of us work with clients daily on just this kind of thing, but it’s hard to do the same in a Forum context.
You can connect custom fields to form questions. To do so - when creating a question you can select the option to “connect to a custom field” and connect it to a field within the project the form is part of. To have all responses from the form in the task, in the options menu select “copy all responses to task description”. Hope this helps.
