I want to create a rule that only applies to tasks with a specific custom field, rather than all tasks. Is that possible?
On Business or Enterprise plans, you can use a custom trigger like <custom fields name> is Set. Pair that (use the “+” sign and specify “All” triggers must apply) with a second trigger: Task is added to this project.
But depending on the type of custom field (single-select, multi-select, etc.) the choices are different, so start to build the rule, then you’ll see the options.
For example, multi-select easily lets you specify a trigger of any value set, but not single-select; you’d need multiple rules there.
