Can we create custom @mention groups for recurring working groups?

Hello,

We’re looking for a way to create custom groups that can be mentioned with @ in comments or messages.

These wouldn’t represent Asana Teams, but rather recurring working groups, for example:

  • Weekly Steering Committee
  • UAT Team
  • Growth Marketing Meeting
  • Vendor Review Board

Membership would change over time and could include both internal users and guests. We’d like Team Admins (or business users) to be able to manage these groups without involving IT or Organization Admins every time someone joins or leaves.

Is there a native way to create and manage these types of mention groups in Asana, or what would be the recommended approach?
