Hi @Marie ! It looks like it’s been a few years since the timeline function was added for the portfolios. Are there plans to add this capability to the portfolio? Thanks!

Adding my vote to this also! Would save us a LOT of hassle to be able to show production calendars at the portfolio level so execs can have an easy look at all events, emails, etc. that are planned. Currently working around this with a dedicated project just for calendaring but is less-than-ideal.

Yes, this is very much needed. Thinking about using another platform for managing our content calendar because of this lack of functionality.

Did you ever find out how to get your projects to populate in timeline? Mine dont either - only milestones

Welcome, @peregrine_falcon,

For you and @anon11266245, it sounds like you’d don’t have a Start and Due date for your projects; that will make them show up as bricks on the Timeline view.

Is there a way for me to set multiple start and due dates for the project? Example: I have a marketing project planning - I need a block for the planning/build and then to show when the campaign is live. That would be :collision: if I am able to capture those

In a portfolio timeline, each project can only have one start and due date for one brick only. So you could only do what you’re asking with multiple projects.

Projects have timelines too, so a workaround would be to use tasks in a project to represent these multiple phases as tasks with start and due dates and view them in the timeline tab.

It would be great to have calendar view for Portfolios! I’m setting up projects now and could REALLY use this feature for scheduling multiple teams across multiple projects! We need a master calendar :folded_hands:t4:
