I love the bundle feature to add new sections, rules, fields etc.

Can the bundle feature be used to REMOVE sections from multiple projects?

Yes, if they were added as part of the bundle. Or maybe if you add them to the bundle then remove them again? I’d make a test bundle for a test project and try it.

Also, may I move this topic out of this private category so 750k+ others can benefit from it?

@Michelle_Toi , make sure to test this because any existing tasks, in sections that get deleted, will get moved to the default section and could have dangerous repercussions (such as rules being triggered).

In order to delete Sections from Bundles, you would need to have the Sections in place/controlled by the Bundle, in the first place. Adding Sections in the Bundle now, will just create duplicates, I’m afraid.

Best to try things out as @lpb also recommends.

I tested this, and here is what I found:

  • You can only delete sections using the bundle feature if that section was part of the bundle in the first place.
  • IF you delete that section in the bundle, all the tasks will shift to the next default section and create a bit of a mess: the rules broke for the section removed, the tasks under the deleted section moved to the next section directly above which also had a rule that applied when a task is added.

It wasn’t clear that you had rules associated with the section to be deleted; that would always result in a red rule error to be fixed, and potentially unfortunate results; glad you were able to suss that out beforehand.
