I have a portfolio of projects. The projects have all been completed, and I’d like to update the status for all the projects to completed. But I cannot select more than one project at a time. So I cannot affect all the projects under the same portfolio.
Is it feasible to have a feature request that would allow the status of multiple projects to be altered at the same time by selecting them via the portfolio view?
Simply allowing bulk-select of portfolio items would be ideal. Would love to be able to bulk-change certain fields at the same time…
Hello, did you get any update to this? I have a portfolio with hundreds of projects that are completed, which would take hours to update one by one.
Bulk select would be really useful in portfolios so that you can bulk select and run a manual trigger rule to all projects in a portfolio. My use case is that I would like to link multiple existing projects in one portfolio to another portfolio, with bulk select I wouldn’t have to select each individual project to run the rule.
Whilst the use case is slightly different, the concept of bulk selecting projects within portfolios is brought up in this post: Specifically this reply. Unfortunately it looks like it is not possible due to the inability to bulk select within portfolios. Why this is merely a ‘considered‘ feature seems daft given the productivity benefits this would bring.
For anyone from Asana reading this, would it be a good idea to merge these topics (and potentially others) so that the voting is aggregated since they boil down to the same issue?
