There needs to be a way to bulk delete multiple attachments in tasks and subtasks. When tasks have more more than 3 attachments, it gets be to extra work to have to individually delete attachments.
Hi @anon36096019, welcome to the Asana Community Forum ![]()
Thanks for taking the time to provide this feedback!
While this feature isn’t available at this time, hopefully it’s something our Product team can implement in the future.
I’ll keep you posted and let you know if we have any updates ![]()
Yes, it would be so very helpful having this ability!
HI- is there a timeline for this or is it even on the roadmap?
Welcome to the Asana Community Forum @anon9305839!
Asana does not have a public roadmap. But they always monitor all feedback request threads and the total votes and views.
Yes, this would be very helpful especially when assigning tasks via Outlook since my signature line and all its icons come over as attachments each time. I find myself having to delete each one individually which can be very time-consuming. It would be nice if there was a “delete all attachments” button that would delete them all at once.
Any news about this topic? Our company really needs that functionality too.
- still looking for this feature.
It’s almost 2026, and Asana still doesn’t offer a way to mass delete attachments. This makes workflows worse, not better. Every time I forward an email to Asana, I end up spending time deleting 20+ unnecessary image files that get imported automatically. At this point, I’m ready to recommend my company move away from Asana and adopt a platform that actually improves efficiency instead of creating extra steps.
Hi @Logan_Feldstein, welcome to the Asana Community Forum and thanks for sharing your feedback with us. We are actually already developing this feature and more updates such as the ability to also bulk download attachments. Although I don’t have a specific date on when this update will be launched, I can reassure you our team is already working on it.
In the meantime, I recommend you trying the Asana for Gmail Add-on or Asana for Outlook app. These apps allow you to create tasks directly from your email and remove all attachments from being uploaded automatically.
Here is an example from Gmail:
I hope this helps! Feel free to reach out via the English Forum > Ask the Community category if you have any questions!
This is wonderful news, thank you.
