Bug? 'rollup(#actual time)+#actual time' doesn't show anything when a task doesn't have sub-task(s)

1. What you’re trying to do
   I’m trying rolling up (task+sub-task)'s actualtime

2. What you’ve tried so far
   I made a formula field which has ‘rollup(#actual time)+#actual time’ formula.

3. What’s not working or confusing
   The field shows a formula result when tasks have sub-task(s).
   But when tasks have no sub-tasks, the field doesn’t show anything(blank).
   Furthermore the field still shows the formula result for tasks without any subtasks now if they had subtasks before.
   

   

Is the above an expected behaviour?
