I don’t think this is necessarily a critical bug (although I suppose it could be if it interrupts ID sequence at all but I haven’t tested it).
One of my designers accidentally pasted an image from their clipboard into a custom ID field (which technically is permanent and should not be editable) and sadly, it cannot be deleted (but oddly enough, it can be resized

Has this happened to anyone else?

I predict someone will reply within 24 hours that they’ve been using this and it’s integral to their workflow and must not be removed

Ok, based on this newly discovered “feature,” I’ve just implemented an elaborate proofing/version control/track changes/github-light-in-Asana workflow harness that relies on marrying an iteration of a graphical asset side-by-side with a unique ID

Could you help confirm whether this issue is still reproducible on your end?
I received an update that they tried following the repro steps in both the List view and the Task detail pane view, but are currently unable to reproduce it. When we try pasting into the Custom ID field, nothing is pasted, which seems to be the expected behavior.
Also, if the goal is to have the previously pasted image removed from the Custom ID field, could you share the affected task ID? That would help us investigate further. Thanks!
Unfortunately I can’t seem to locate the old task. But I also can’t replicate the bug.
