This is a very annoying bug, i always get the ‘redirect’ screen for Asana. When I refresh the page, i get to see the actual page.
Obviously I have turned this specific feature off in my profile settings, I don’t want to use the Asana app. Everytime I open a link it wants me to use the app.
@Harwin_Borger - I’ve moved this to the English Forum > Tips and Tricks section for now (can move it back if it’s determined to be expected behavior and not an issue). Can you confirm where/when you see this? I don’t have this issue in my day-to-day.
As soon as I open a new browser tab I get this screen. Also when clicking links in e-mails etc.
Unless Asana wants to force me to use the App, it’s an issue for sure.
@Harwin_Borger - thanks for the context, sounds like it could be a localized bug. There’s only so much that can be done over the forum, so if you haven’t already, I’d recommend following these steps so Asana’s support team can assist:
Hi @Harwin_Borger , in your Asana settings, try going to the ‘Hacks’ tab and enable ‘Show Asana’s homepage on the web’.
Let us know if it works cos this option is fairly new and I’m wondering if it is causing such issues.
I have the same issue. The hack to show Asana’s homepage on the web does not work for me. Each time I have to remove browser cookies and re-login to the website.

I have the same issue. For me it’s caused by asana not playing well with the firefox side view extension. very frustrating. anyone else?
Geez, ages passed and it’s still not fixed. Welp, gonna use something else then…
